The production and types of PBT The production process of PBT fiber is similar to PET, there are two routes of producing PBT, transesterification method and direct esterification, the latter is widely used. PBT chips can be used for producing drawing yarn, low and high elasticity yarn, low speed spinning or high speed spinning, paralleling bicomposite yarn, imitated spandex modified PBT yarn.
